And here I am!
(True story!)
My name is Daniel and together with my wife Julie, we create the webcomic Harkovast.
It tells the tale of a fantasy world, populated with various anthropomorphic peoples and their battles for survival against sinister creatures known as The Nameless Race.
I'm going to start posting some of the pages from the comic here so more people will have the chance to check it out.

I'm glad to see you figured out the avatar stuff though! If you need any more help, send me a note on here, instead of DD!
I've been so busy I haven't been on Deviant Art much since I set up my account.
What is a good way to promote my work on deviant art? I'm always hoping to get noticed.
(By the way, if you feel the desire to draw any more awesome fan art for Harkovast, don't let me stop you!)

Other than that, just comment on people's stuff. Especially if you give longer, more thought-out comments (maybe even helpful ones), it's likely to make people check you out in return - good comments are hard to come by and usually highly appreciated by artists.
And, I guess, you could maybe try to join clubs or take part in competitions. Anthro Challenge seems like a well-suited fit.
(You really are a very useful person to know!)

A lot of people have told me this is a good place to promote my web comic and get noticed so I thought I would take the plunge and give it a try.
